The Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance, and Other Financial Institutions has postponed the interface between the two committees from Tuesday to Friday. The increase in killings and kidnappings has caused panic in the country. The Senate has decided to postpone the appearance of the Central Bank Governor (CBN) to Friday due to the Service Chiefs' scheduled appearance. The committee gathered in Room 211 for the planned interface, but decided to postpone it to Friday. The Senate also held closed-door sessions on the death of former Yobe State Governor Bukar Ibrahim, raising a nine-man delegation to pay a condolence visit to the governor and his family.
