 The obafemi Awolowo prize for leadership is instituted by the obafemi Awolowo foundation on the basis of one of themajor recommendations of its special dialogue on Transformational leadership and goverance; lessons from the Awolowo held in july 2011. the national prize is instituted in the name of chief obafemi Awolowo to reward leadership and good goverance. chief obafemi Awolowo a Nigerian and pan- African nationalist of global repute, was the first premier of Nigeria s' western region and, later leader of opposition in the federal paliament. he was also, inter alia, Nigeria s' federal commissioner now known as minister of finance and vice chairman, federal executive council. he played crucial roles in nigeria 's constitutional and political developments in the country s' colonial and postcolonial history.

Russia s' unmanned Luna-25 spacecraft has crashed into the moon after spinning out of control, officials say. According to the british broadingcasting corporation BBC, it was Russia s''first moon mission in almost 50 years. the craft was due to be the first ever to land on the moons south pole, but failed after encountering problems as it moved into its pre-landing orbit. it was set to explore a part of the moon which scientist think could hold frozen water and precious elements. it was expected to make history by making a soft landing on monday or tuesday, just days before the indian touch down. no country has ever landed softly on the moon s' surface.

Africa global bank for Africa UBA has announced an intiative aimed at providing robust and comprehensive financing solutions to support activities of small businesses that speciaise in the key sectors of Agro- processing, pharmceuticals, Automotive and Transport and logistics. the financing intiative is powered by UBAs' recent partnership with the African continental free trade area AFCFTA secretariat to provide  financing for up to $6 billion over the next three years to eligible SMES across Africa, an agreement which was signed on the sidelines of the 30th Afreximbank Annual meeting AAM, which was held in Acra, Ghana.in addition to financial support, she emphasized the bank s' commitment towards providing capacity-building opportunities for SMES, through various training programs and resources, and how UBA aims to equip the business with the knowledege and skills needed to thrive in a competitive market environment.
