Through the SSG, Aihaji Saidu Umar Ubandoma, who acted as his agent, Tambuwal declared that the state government would continue to support the Army for effective service delivery.According to Major General Uwen Bassey, General Officer Commanding (GOC)8th Division, Nigerian Army, the situation in the West is allegedly getting better. During the 2021 West African Social Activities, or WASA, in Sokoto State, he made this declaration and stressed how the Nigerian Army supports the Police and other security agencies in handling internal security in compliance with the constitution.
