Leaders of the South East geopolitical zone have started making steps to garner the North's support for an Igbo president ahead of the general elections in 2023. So, a delegation from the Ohaneze Ndigbo Presidency has sent a letter to the North asking for their cooperation. The northern leaders, including Prof. Ango Abdullahi and Dr. Hakeem Baba Ahmed, said the vast majority of politicians who are threatening to seize power in 2023 and carry on as usual should be rejected during a meeting of Northern Leaders Thought at Arewa House in Kaduna. The Ohaneze Ndigbo presidential campaign team stated during a meeting with the national president of Arewa Yout Consultative Forum (AYCF), Alhaji Yerima Shettima, that the Igbos believe in dialogue, lobbying, and negotiation to actualize their desire to.

National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has maintained that attempt to link the board to the demolition of a property at Murjanatu House in Abuja is the handiwork of agents of D.B. Mangal with whom the said land is being disputed in court. The National Board for Technical Education's attention has been drawn to an attempt by the agents of D.B. Mangal to smear its name by claiming that the board destroyed some property of its llegal occupants whose rents he has been collecting, with the aim of swaying the sympathy of the court in its favour, according to a press release issued by Ahmed Garba, the special adviser to the National Board for Technical Education executive secretary, Professor Idris Bugaji. The National Board for Technical Education attempted to recover the property but was thwarted by the agents of D.B. Mangal sressing that the matter is before the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court, Abuja.

Protester took to the streets of Kaduna yesterday, declaring that North is not bleeding  but going through a healing process. The protesters who are activists under the auspices of the coalition of Northern Activists for peace (CNAP) said, as much as they cannot not unaware that, thousand of lives have been lost to insecurity agencies curtailing the activities of bandits, terrorists and cyber propagandas that have been terrorising most northern party of the coountry. The Kaduna State convener of CNAP, Prince Zubairu Mukhtar, who led the protest, said the rally was organised in apperciation of the substantial efforts of the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration and the security agencies in addressing the challanges that have bedeviled Nigeria in particular. According to Mukhtar, the North has over time been on the spot light with issues of insecurity specifically banditry, terrorism and Cyber Propaganda. We all know for certain that the issues at stake require a multi-stakeholder approach, which is necessary considering the dynamics of the issues that have affected the socio-economic well-bing of the peaceful and loving people of Kaduna State and indeed Northern Nigeria.  

The Kaduna State Police Command has thwarted a kidnapping attempt, freed 16 victims, and found a stolen car there. According to a statement made by ASP Muhammed Jalige, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO). and named the victims who had been saved as residents of Udawa Village, Chikun LGA: Patience Markus, Mercy Musa, Gloria Sunday, Yunis Sunday, Peace Ayuba, Grace Sunday, Sarafina Sunday, and Mechak Musa. Musa Mudu, Joshua Mudu, Jummai Musa, and Alfa Markus are further victims who have been saved. Abdulaziz Shola, Tanimu Muhammed, Mutari Idris, and Sani Musa are from the states of Lagos, Kano, Zamfara, and Niger, respectively. He claims that the police officer assigned to the Kawo Division's leadership sprang into action right away and found the vehicle.
