Barrister Nura Bello, a candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the local government election in Kebbi State, predicted that he would win the chairmanship position of the Birnin Kebbi local government area with the help of his thronging PDP, All Progressives Congress (APC), and other party supporters. He discussed his prospects for winning the upcoming council election. The candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party bemoaned how the administrators' current approach has reduced all of Kebbi State's councils to paying simply monthly wages and nothing more. He pledged to launch initiatives that would empower young people and women as well as strategies to generate income so that the council could stand alone.
