Kaduna State governor, Senator Uba Sani, has urged the development of a framework for reinventing Islamic education to align with global dynamics and equip youth with essential life skills. He made this call during his address at a three-day conference on Islamic Learning and Scholarship in Africa, organised by Arewa House in conjunction with the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC), International Research Center for Islamic History Culture and Arts (IRCICA) Turkey, and Al Istiqama University Sumaila, Kano.

The governor emphasised the significance of equipping young people with skills that will enable them to compete globally and make meaningful contributions to society.

Kaduna State governor Uba Sani has requested the governorship election petition tribunal in the state to dismiss the petition filed against him by the candidate of the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) Mohammed Isa Ashiru. He is challenging the emergence of Uba Sani as governor of kaduna state at the tribunal. the governor's lead counsel chief Bayo Ojo argued for the dismissal of the petition based on an incurable procedural error. he supported his argument with various legal authorities, including previous judgements of the supreme court and the court of appeal to demonstrate the petitioners' procedural noncompliance. they insisted that a valid application for the issuance of a pre-hearing notice had been made. 

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State denied media reports that he rejected a ministerial nominee by his predecessor, Malam Nasir el-Rufai. He clarified that the reports were inaccurate and aimed to create tension between him and El-Rufai. Sani urged newsmen to maintain integrity by sharing verified and balanced stories contributing positively to the nation's progress.

Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, Wednesday said his administration would actively engage the traditional rulers in policy-making and implementation, especially on security matters. The governor spoke at a meeting with the state’s Council of Traditional Rulers, led by the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, in Kaduna yesterday.

He reiterated that the security of lives and property remained his administration’s priority. He said the traditional institution is vital to the success of any administration, serving as a stabilising force at the grassroots level.
