The Renewed Hope Initiative of First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu has donated over 9,000 bags and cartons of food items to vulnerable women and the downtrodden in Maiduguri, Borno State. The items, including rice, sugar, vegetable oil, and pasta, were presented by the North East Development Commission on her behalf to Dr. Falmata Zulum, represented by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Women Affairs. North East Development Commission Borno State Coordinator, Mohammed Umaru, reaffirmed the First Lady’s commitment to alleviating hardship and assured that the support would reach the other five Northeast states through their governors' wives. Hajiya Hauwa Mai Musa, in turn, praised both the First Lady and the North East Development Commission for their impactful support to vulnerable groups and communities affected by insurgency.
