The governor of Borno State, Babagana Zulum, has expressed concern over the use of drones by Boko-Haram militants and their superior knowledge of technological warfare compared to the government's combined military task force. He made this statement in Maiduguri when he welcomed Femi Gbajabiamila, speaker of the House of Representatives, and his entourage. They were in Borno to evaluate the situation regarding the IDPs' population and their transition from camps to resettlement. The Governor claims that the military's technological capacity needs to be reviewed because otherwise the insurgent war will never finish.
