The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has reaffirmed his commitment to work with the legislature and ensure the principle of separation of powers thrives among the three arms of government.

The Governor stated this during the inauguration and proclamation of the 10th House of Assembly where the incumbent Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa was re-elected Speaker of the House for the third consecutive term, In his speech, Sanwo-Olu described the legislative arm as an indispensable pillar of the country’s democracy and an embodiment of the hopes and aspirations of the people.
