Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation and senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has encouraged Nigerians to resist foreign forces attempting to destabilise the nation. Speaking to Governor Bello Matawalle and the state's residents in the capital of Zamfara, he claimed that killings in Zamfara and other northwest states may have been committed by foreigners following recent bandit attacks in the Anka and Bukkuyun local government areas. According to the former minister, the murders in Zamfara are a tragedy of monumental proportions, much as the murders committed anywhere in Nigeria. He praised the governor's efforts in the ongoing war against terrorists, pointing out that the security difficulties wouldn't exist without such efforts.
