First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, through her Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), has distributed empowerment tools to 500 women in Niger State under the Sustainable Development Goals/Renewed Hope Initiative Women Empowerment Programme, aimed at helping them start or expand small businesses. Items distributed included deep-chest freezers, gas cookers, generators, and industrial grinders. Represented by Hajiya Fatima Bago, the First Lady emphasized that empowering women strengthens families and society. Similarly, in Anambra State, Mrs. Tinubu, represented by Dr. Nonye Soludo, distributed farm tools and resources to 200 trained farmers under the Renewed Hope Initiative Agricultural Support Programme. Beneficiaries received items such as piglets, organic fertilisers, poultry tools, and farming equipment after training in areas like drip irrigation, piggery, and poultry farming. Both events underscored the First Lady's commitment to economic empowerment and self-reliance for women and farmers across Nigeria.
