Muhammad Danjuma Goje, senator for Gombe Central Senatorial District, recently gave his citizens in Gombe State 500 tricycles (Keke NAPEP) and 1,000 motorcycles. Goje said the donation was born out of his ambition for community empowerment to support youths and women in his constituency while speaking during the flag-off of the distribution at his Gombe mansion. He added that the act was a part of his attempts to combat poverty and provide his supporters the power to open up work prospects for young people in the neighbourhood. According to our correspondent, residents of the constituency in the local government areas of Akko and Yamaltu/Deba in the state received the goods, which cost more than N920 million, free of charge.
