The opening of its Innovation Challenge in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa has been announced by the Google News Initiative (GNI). The financing for the chosen innovation initiatives might total up to $150,000 per project. The Innovation Challenge has been active in the area since 2019, and 43 ideas from 18 countries were chosen for the first two rounds, according to GNI.
