Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has promised that security challenges in the South-East region will be halted within two minutes of his regaining freedom. Kanu, who is currently in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) and facing a trial for terrorism, accused government officials of profiting from insecurity and said that even those perpetrating evil in the name of IPOB would cease immediately after his release. Kanu urged for peace in the region and urged for those involved in violence to come out of the situation.
