The Ogun State Government, in partnership with the World Bank through a special acceleration and transformation project, has launched an initiative to thoroughly revitalise seventy-five primary health care centres spread across all twenty local government areas of the state. This comprehensive renovation and equipping effort aims to drastically lower under-five mortality rates, improve overall healthcare service delivery, and expand access to essential medical care, particularly for women and children living in underserved and remote rural communities. State officials and project coordinators emphasize that the initiative reflects the government's strong commitment to citizen welfare, backed by a rigorous contractor selection process and a dedicated multi-stakeholder monitoring team designed to ensure high standards and long-lasting positive health outcomes across the region.
