A week of unexplained operational downtime that left oil distributors stranded, the Port Harcourt Refining Company has resumed loading petrol, with 11 trucks successfully dispatched from its depot on Monday afternoon following assurances from Olufemi Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer for the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited. Although loading activities gradually picked up at the 18-arm facility, petroleum marketers like Liti expressed frustration over unannounced operational halts and technical limitations, pointing out that only three loading arms are currently functional while the refinery has yet to begin producing kerosene or diesel.
