President Bola Tinubu has reiterated his commitment to turn around Nigeria's fortunes for the benefit of all citizens, regardless of political, ethnic, or other affiliations. He called on ministers in his cabinet to deliver on their mandates and retain their seats during the 2023 Cabinet Retreat for Ministers, Presidential Aides, Permanent Secretaries, and top government functionaries. These areas include food security, ending poverty, economic growth and job creation, access to capital, inclusivity, security, fairness and the rule of law, and anti-corruption stance. Tinubu urged attendees to take informed risks while remaining open to the directives of their supervisors. He urged them to be intellectually inquisitive and not be antagonistic to their supervisors. He also urged them to debate decisions and not be antagonistic to their supervisors.
