The newly appointed National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, has assured that President Bola Tinubu's administration will secure Nigeria and ensure peace in all parts of the country. Ribadu took over from former NSA, retired Major General Babagana Monguno, following his appointment by President Bola Tinubu on June 19. He emphasized the importance of securing every inch of Nigeria and urged Nigerians to unite to achieve a more stable, peaceful, and prosperous nation. Major General Monguno congratulated Ribadu on his well-equipped, qualified, and educated skills, stating that he has the capacity to tackle any security challenges. He urged staff to extend the same support and cooperation to his successor to achieve the desired national objective. Ribadu's appointment comes after a long and challenging tenure, with the need for unity and cooperation from Nigerian servicemen and women.
