The state government of Katsina State has instituted a committee to control the actions of miscreants and abusers in the state as part of its attempts to reduce insecurity in the state. According to pressmen, Ibrahim Ahmed Katsina, the special adviser to the governor on security matters, revealed the information following a meeting held behind closed doors between the committee and Governor Aminu Bello Masari at the Government House. Adding that the 15-person group is made up of traditional institutions, religious organisations, security services, and non-governmental organisations (NGOs). The government's administration will be ready, he continued, to lessen teenage unrest and drug usage in the state.
