The Board of Directors of vintage Press Limited,publisher of the nation,sportinglife and Gbelegbo, yesterday urged the company's employees to remain committed to its growth. Mr Adeleke urged the reporters to win more awards for the organisation. He added that the management remained committed to their welfare. Edun eulogised the workers for their  support and dedication. Edun said: "we are here toady to celebrate the awards winners- CITN, NMMA, DAME for our performance. on behalf of the board, Edun presented letters to the winners, including adeleke, who won the chartered institute of taxation of Nigeria (CITN) award. Others winners' are: Adesina; Deputy Editor Emmanuel Oladesu, Associate Editor Duru, Assitant Editor Bola Olajuwon, Senior Correspondent Kevin Osa Okunbor, Chief correspondent kunle Akinrinade and Assitant Editor Chikodi Okereocha.

Nigeria Guild of Editors (NGE) has slated its Town Hall Meeting for the North-West goe-political zone at Tahir Guest Palace (Hotel), Kano. In a statement by its president, Mustapha Isah and the general secretary, Iyobosa Uwugiaren, in Abuja, the professional body of all the editors in Nigeria, said the meeting would provide a platform for the media's stakeholders to remind editors and others media managers of the sacred duties they are tasked to perform by the constitution on behalf of the citizens. With a theme:"Agenda Setting for Sustainable Democratic Culture", the guild said the main objective of the meeting, which is being supported by the United State (US) Embassy in Nigeria, is to assess the media performance i consolidating Nigeria's democracy-citizen verdict and outlining media agenda for the future.
