The Kaduna State Scholarship and Loan Board will have a new source of income thanks to the establishment of the Education Trust Fund by the Malam Nasir El-Rufai administration. The Executive Secretary of the Board, Malam Hassan Rilwan, revealed this and stated that although the enabling law is still being developed, the "Act will soon be ready." The Trust Fund would allow people, organisations, and even Non-Governmental Organisations to donate to the fund, he continued, adding that the law will explicitly state how it will be handled. He was speaking about the activities the Board has planned for this year. Additionally, the Board was established by the Malam Nasir El-Rufai administration to offer scholarships to three students.
