National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has maintained that attempt to link the board to the demolition of a property at Murjanatu House in Abuja is the handiwork of agents of D.B. Mangal with whom the said land is being disputed in court. The National Board for Technical Education's attention has been drawn to an attempt by the agents of D.B. Mangal to smear its name by claiming that the board destroyed some property of its llegal occupants whose rents he has been collecting, with the aim of swaying the sympathy of the court in its favour, according to a press release issued by Ahmed Garba, the special adviser to the National Board for Technical Education executive secretary, Professor Idris Bugaji. The National Board for Technical Education attempted to recover the property but was thwarted by the agents of D.B. Mangal sressing that the matter is before the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court, Abuja.
