The Economic community of west african states ECOWAS has rejected Niger junta s' three-year power tramsition plan ECOWAS commissioner for political affairs, peace and security, Abdel-Fatau musa  '' the eare the  stated this during interview with the british broadcasting corporation BBC on sunday. ECOWAS is not accepting any prolonged transition again in the region. ''they just have to get ready to hand over in the shortest possible time'' he said, adding that the military aspect is very much on''. the earlier they give power back to civilians and concentrate on their primary responsibility .

WhatsApp announced that it had a user base of more than one billion—that is, one in seven people on earth. People all over the world have been using WhatsApp for numerous purposes. Since then, the popular messaging app has added a host of new features, including improved speed, security, reliability, and simplicity. With such a huge user base, it is one of the most popular messaging apps. WhatsApp has also just added a video-calling feature to the app after a series of beta tests. There has been a rise in the app called Snapchat and its Stories feature, from Instagram to Facebook, and now even WhatsApp has tried to clone it. In the new WhatsApp’s Beta app on iOS and Android, there is a new ‘Status’ tab where the ‘Stories’ can be put and seen before they disappear 24 hours later. The new ‘Stories’ feature is only available to a select few who operate on a jailbroken Apple device or a rooted Android smartphone. WhatsApp just confirmed that it is rolling out the video calling feature across Android, iOS, and Windows. You will now be able to see ‘Video Call’ and ‘Voice Call’ choices when you tap the top dialer button. A new dialogue giving the option between a standard voice call and a video call will appear.

Nigeria's PUNCH Nigeria Limited is celebrating its 50th anniversary with various events in Lagos. The company, which publishes Nigeria's leading newspaper titles, The PUNCH, Saturday PUNCH, Sunday PUNCH, and PUNCH Online, clocked 50 on March 18, 2023. The 50th anniversary coincides with the 40th anniversary of the passing of the founding Chairman, Chief James Olubunmi Aboderin. The company's Board of Directors Chairman, Angela Emuwa, praised PUNCH's impact on Nigeria for over five decades. The final event will be a staff party on March 9.
