The Enugu State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has ruled that Governor Peter Mbah's election was invalid due to a forged certificate. The tribunal found that the petitioners and respondents failed to comply with the First Schedule to the Electoral Act, 2022, regarding subpoenaed witnesses. The tribunal also found no merit in the claim that Mbah submitted a forged NYSC certificate.
