Primary and secondary schools in many states, including Lagos, Ogun, Kano, Delta, and Jigawa, are resuming their second term after the Christmas and New Year holidays, bringing excitement to teachers, students, and parents, although state governments have issued strict warnings and planned monitoring teams to ensure punctuality and prevent absenteeism among both staff and pupils.
