The ruling political party in Ekiti State has dismissed the opposition party's ambition to unseat the incumbent governor in the upcoming governorship election as an impossible mission, arguing that the governor has delivered exceptional achievements in infrastructure, salary payments, and project development while the opposition remains deeply fractured and disorganized. In contrast, an opposition pressure group and regional party representatives have urged their members to set aside their differences and build a united front, claiming that the current administration has failed to provide adequate value for the state's financial resources and asserting that voters are eagerly waiting for the upcoming election to express their dissatisfaction and vote for change.
