No reason for Nigeria to rely on food imports –Gombe Gov

Gombe State Governor Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has emphasized the importance of food security in Nigeria, stating that the country has vast arable land and a large population, making it unnecessary to rely on food imports. He stated that his government is committed to developing the agriculture sector and is ready to support entrepreneurs in Gombe State. The governor believes that Nigeria's development hinges on food security and that the private sector should be responsible for job creation.
