Tinubu seeks Reps’ confirmation of NDDC chairman, governing board

President Bola Tinubu has written to the House of Representatives to ratify the chairman and governing board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, in compliance with section 2(2) of the Act. The ratification follows President Ebie's endorsement of the position, along with 16 other nominees. The Deputy Speaker, Ben Kalu, presented the under-listed seventeen nominees for consideration, including Chiedu Ebie, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, Boma lyaye, Victor Antai, and Otito Atikase. The President urged the House for an expeditious consideration of the nominees. The appointees could only be inaugurated after Senate and House of Reps confirmation.
