2027: I’ll have a say in who succeeds me — Makinde

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has announced his involvement in the selection process for his successor after his term ends in 2027. He acknowledged that the final decision will be made by the electorate and stated that he will have his input in discussions. Makinde also expressed his commitment to transforming the state's civil service by transitioning from manual processes to digital systems to eliminate delays. The committee's chairman, Chief Adebisi Adesola, emphasized that these changes would lead to better service delivery and greater output.
