Flooding: Tinubu announces Disaster Relief Fund

Nigerian President Bola Tinubu has announced the establishment of a disaster relief fund in Maiduguri, Borno State, to assist citizens affected by floods and other disasters. The fund is already expedient as the climate becomes more unpredictable and vulnerable areas in the country are affected. President Tinubu urged the private sector to contribute to the fund and urged the National Assembly to collaborate with the executive to establish it. He thanked governors who look beyond party lines to bear the burdens of others and pledged continued support for victims of natural disasters.
