Cultists kill 5 in Rivers, give conditions for ceasefire

Gunmen loyal to wanted David Gift, suspected of killing Superintendent of Police Bako Angbashim, attacked and killed five natives in the Odiemerenyi community in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State. The suspects demanded the release of their sponsors and sympathisers, as well as some chiefs in their custody, before they would cease fire. The community called on the Rivers State Government and security agencies to arrest the wanted cultists, as people in the community and neighboring areas live in fear.
