Govt, firm sign concession on 6MW Ikere Gorge hydropower project

The Federal Government and Quaint Energy signed a 30-year concession agreement for the 6MW Ikere Gorge Hydropower Project in Oyo State, a milestone in Nigeria's pursuit of sustainable and reliable power supply. Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, highlighted the decade-long negotiation process and emphasized the importance of these hydropower projects in enhancing energy access and stimulating local productivity.
