Boko Haram, ISWAP Fighters Killed Army General Captured In Borno Boko Haram and ISWAP fighters killed Brigadier General M Uba, the Brigade Commander of the Nigerian Army, who was reportedly abducted near Wajuroko, Borno State. Although the Army headquarters initially denied the abduction, insurgents claimed responsibility through a press statement on the Amaq agency's website. They stated that their forces captured the commander following an ambush and subsequently killed him after interrogation. The statement was made in Arabic and emphasized their successful operation against what they termed the "apostate Nigerian army."
