One killed, six injured in Lagos road crash

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) reported an accident in Ikorodu that resulted in the death of a female passenger and injuries to six others. The incident involved a Volkswagen commercial bus that lost control due to brake failure and collided with a stationary tipper truck. Speeding was identified as a contributing factor. The injured were taken to a hospital, while the deceased was moved to Ikorodu General Hospital. Both drivers were arrested and handed over to police for investigation. LASTMA emphasized the importance of cautious driving to prevent such tragedies.
