NDLEA intercepts 396,000 tramadol capsules in Yola airport Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) intercepted 396,000 capsules of tramadol at Aliyu Mustapha International Airport in Yola. This seizure occurred shortly after another recovery of over 171,000 tramadol capsules in Niger, Benue, and Taraba states. A 50-year-old suspect, Ahmed Nda, was arrested. Additionally, NDLEA captured 1,762.8 kilograms of cannabis from a drug baron, Ibemesi, who was arrested at his hotel in Lagos, along with significant cash. A thwarted attempt to distribute 11,135 kg of skunk in Osun State led to the seizure of two trucks and seven arrests. The NDLEA continues its efforts in collaboration with international agencies to combat drug trafficking.
