Nasarawa gets Fed Govt’s Renewed Hope Rice Palliatives

The Nasarawa State Coordinator of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, Dr. Labaran Magaji, has confirmed the receipt of 1,200 bags of rice palliatives designated for supporters and ambassadors of the Renewed Hope initiative across Nasarawa State. Speaking to journalists in Lafia, Magaji, who also serves as the Secretary to the State Government, explained that the palliatives symbolize appreciation for the loyalty and commitment of party supporters rather than the quantity of items distributed. He emphasized that the distribution would cut across various communities and wards to promote unity, inclusiveness, and collective ownership of the agenda. Magaji expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for recognizing Nasarawa State and reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to sustaining political support for the APC-led government beyond 2027. Highlighting infrastructural developments as evidence of democratic dividends, he cited major projects such as the Lafia flyover, Akwanga underpass, Keffi and Mararaba flyovers, the State Secretariat, and the Nasarawa–Toto–Abaji Road. According to Magaji, these achievements reflect the positive impact of President Tinubu’s economic reforms, complemented by Governor Abdullahi Sule’s prudent and transparent resource management, which he described as exemplary and God-fearing leadership focused on sustainable development.
