Alumni Pledge Support for Lagos School The 1976 set of Eko Boys High School, Mushin, Lagos State, has pledged to support their alma mater with welfare projects. The set, under the Eko Boys High School Old Students Association ’76, made this known on Saturday during the 50th anniversary of their graduation held along Ogudu Road, Ojota area of the state.Speaking with newsmen at the event, the EKOBA ’76 President, Johnson Adeyoye, said the association plans to donate a sick bay to the school as part of its interventions.“For the school, we are donating a healing sick bay where first aid can be administered. We’ve been buying the materials needed and keeping them in the school. He added that the sick bay would provide basic healthcare services to students, while serious medical cases would be referred to appropriate health facilities.“We are doing this because we know that the government cannot do everything. There are many competing demands requiring government intervention, and it cannot address all of them at once,” he said.
