OPay Unveils Improved Verification System to Prevent Fraud

The financial technology firm OPay has introduced an upgraded security question feature to better protect its users from fraud and unauthorized account access. This improved system is dynamic and adaptive, asking users multiple-choice or fill-in-the-blank questions during risky activities like changing phone numbers or resetting passwords. Over one million users have already set up these questions, which work alongside other safety measures like artificial intelligence-powered call-back verification, abnormal transaction alerts, facial recognition technology, and the Large Transaction Shield feature. Together, these tools stop thousands of fraudulent transactions every day. The company encourages all users to update their security questions through the app to strengthen their account protection
