In a separate operation on the same day, police officers at the Kawo Central Motor Park in Kaduna intercepted a commercial vehicle and arrested a twenty-seven-year-old male resident named Jamilu Suleiman after discovering twenty-one fabricated assault rifles concealed inside, which he confessed he was instructed to deliver to another individual. Additionally, following a distress call regarding an armed robbery at a farm along the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway, officers from the Tafa Division engaged a gang of armed robbers in a gun duel that resulted in the neutralization of three suspects, while another apprehended suspect remains in custody assisting law enforcement with their ongoing investigation.
