Makinde Launches Oyo Free Medical Mission

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde launched the 2025 Omituntun Free Medical Mission in Ibadan while reaffirming his administration's goal to construct and equip functional Primary Healthcare Centers in all three hundred and fifty-one wards across the state. Pointing to these healthcare achievements, Makinde suggested that his state's operational model serves as a proven blueprint for the federal government's broader initiative to build Primary Healthcare Facilities nationwide. In addition to expanding local health insurance enrollment through a clustered medical outreach system, the governor explained  ongoing progress across his administration's key priorities, citing improvements in regional security, stronger national examination results for local students, and a monthly injection of twenty-four billion naira into the economy through salaries and pensions.
