FG Takes Over Epe General Hospital

The Federal Government and the Lagos State Government have signed an agreement to transfer and upgrade the Epe General Hospital into the new Federal Medical Centre, Epe, to significantly improve healthcare access and specialized medical services, particularly for trauma management and emergencies. Announced by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu and Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare Dr. Tunji Alausa, the upgraded facility will offer specialized care in fields like pediatrics, cardiology, surgery, obstetrics, and gynecology, while also hosting a nursing school and connecting with the Federal College of Complementary and Alternative Medicine to boost medical education and training for the growing local population.
