2025 Budget: Tinubu Dangles False Hopes Before Nigerians Gain!

President Bola Tinubu’s previous multi-trillion-naira budget has failed to improve the lives of ordinary citizens, with a large majority of Nigerians suffering from severe hunger, massive ransom payments due to kidnappings, and skyrocketing inflation, yet the administration continues to boast of economic progress despite comparative market data showing a sharp decline across key performance indicators like currency exchange rates, debt accumulation, and foreign reserves when measured against previous presidencies. While the president has introduced an even larger proposed budget for the upcoming year aimed at restoring prosperity and securing peace, critics argue that the staggering expenditure heavily favors debt servicing and government overhead rather than human welfare, leaving citizens facing persistent economic hardship and widespread despair instead of the promised renewed hope.
