Amaechi’s Faction Attacks Ganduje Over Rivers APC Crisis

A faction of the ruling political party in Rivers State loyal to a former minister has strongly criticized the national chairman, alleging that his dictatorial leadership style has deepened internal conflicts and empowered unauthorized figures through the unconstitutional establishment of a caretaker committee despite standing court orders. During a press briefing in Port Harcourt, representatives of the reinstated state executives accused the national leadership of ignoring internal democracy, undermining foundational progressive values, and trying to erase the memory of supporters who lost their lives during past election cycles. Dismissing threats of expulsion from a rival faction as legally invalid and hypocritical in light of multiple court judgments recognizing their own legitimacy, the aggrieved faction urged the national leadership to respect the rule of law and adhere strictly to democratic principles to safeguard the party's future.
