PDP Tackles Okpebholo Over LG Chairmen Suspension

Despite a high court ruling and a declaration by the Attorney General of the Federation calling the suspensions illegal, legislative leaders in Edo State have quietly taken over as acting leaders for the eighteen local government areas following the suspension of the elected chairmen by the state assembly over alleged financial misconduct. While some areas experienced clashes and political thugs blocking access, others operated without interruption, prompting the opposition party and the affected chairmen to encourage resistance, uphold the rule of law, and pursue further legal action.
