Nigeria on track to attain food security – Tinubu Nigeria's President Bola Tinubu has pledged to make the country self-sufficient in food production before leaving office. He spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Bida-Minna Road construction in Niger State, promising to continue partnering with states that bring development to their people. Tinubu praised the Etsu Nupe, Yahaya Abubakar, for ensuring peace in his domain. Governor Umaru Bago praised the construction as a promise fulfilled, stating it was of paramount economic importance and a paradigm shift from the usual lip services. The Bida-Minna Road will create avenues for greater economic development and make Niger a reference point in Nigeria's infrastructure and socio-economic development.
