Introduction
The
Human Resource and Administration Department is one of the supporting
Departments of the National Library of Nigeria rendering services in both the
human and administrative areas.
It
is responsible for the recruitment; welfare; training of staff; managing salary
structures and benefit packages; planning for workforce needs; managing
employee health insurance; retirement and succession plans of staff as well as
career development.
On
the Administrative aspect; it oversees the office space and facilities; manages
office supplies and equipment and co-ordinating maintenance and repairs as well
as the security and the environment.
