The National Library of Nigeria has expressed support to the establishment of a Library Trust Fund by the National Assembly.

Speaking at a public hearing recently organized by the House of Representatives Committee on Legislative Library Research and Documentation, the National Librarian and Chief Executive Officer of the National Library of Nigeria, Professor Chinwe Anunobi commended the National Assembly for giving high consideration to the library, by instituting a Trust Fund to cater for its maintenance and sustenance.
