Librarians have been urged to adopt new technologies that will enhance service delivery to library users and information seekers.

The National Librarian/CEO, Prof. Chinwe Veronica Anunobi gave this charge during a panel discussion on Emerging Technologies in Library Services, organized by the American Library Club.

Prof. Anunobi stated that new and emerging technologies help one to rebrand, so that those library services which are rendered traditionally could be transformed into electronic format and made accessible digitally, so that people could access the services seamlessly in the comfort of their zones.
