- The National Librarian, Prof. Chinwe Anunobi, led some Directors from the National Library of Nigeria to a courtesy call on the Clerk to the National Assembly, Sani Magaji Tambuwal to thank the Management of the National Assembly, led by the Clerk to the National Assembly for dutifully managing the resources of the nation that emanates from the National Assembly, as bills, motions, reports and Acts of parliament and preserving same, as required.
She however requested the Clerk to the National Assembly to ensure that all publications of any nature that emanates from the National Assembly are deposited with the National Library, promptly.
The Clerk to the National Assembly, Sani Magaji Tambuwal promised to ensure that all publications and resources from the National Assembly are deposited with the National Library, as required by law.
While Prof. Anunobi was accompanied by Mrs. Anthonia Onuoha, Dr. Jumoke Ajibola, Mrs. Ngozi Odogwu and Mr. Abubakar Hambagda, the Clerk to the National Assembly was accompanied by the Secretary for Research and Information, Pharmacist Ali Umoru, Director of Library, Mr. Iliya Malam Ifu.
