Our Chief Executive Officer, Prof. Chinwe Anunobi played host to the President of the Nigerian Academy of Science (NAS), Prof. Ekanem Braided, who visited with the Executive Secretary of NAS and others. 

Prof. Ekanem intimated the National Librarian/CEO that the Academy has built a state of the art library and museum which is set for commissioning by September. She solicited support of the National Library of Nigeria in terms of manpower training and educational resources to enable them to equip the new library adequately.

Responding, the National Librarian commended the leadership of NAS for their zeal in promoting reading and education in general which was visible in the effort to build a library/museum. She assured that the NLN whose mandate it is to promote reading culture and equally preserve the country's heritage will not hesitate to offer assistance. She advised that NAS as a group could set up a repository of science which people could assess conveniently from the comfort of their homes.
